Emergency Assistance Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) from the instrument panel cover. Refer to CONTROLS, REAR CABIN COMFORT (RCCC)., REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (4) and antenna connectors (3) from the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) (2).
  4. Remove the four screws (1) from the EAM mounting bracket that secure the EAM (2) to the bracket.
  5. Remove the EAM (2) from the vehicle.
