| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove the expansion reservoir for the low-temperature circuit upward out of the elastomer bearings and place it to one side with the coolant lines still connected. | AR09.41-P-0001XGC | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect the electrical connection for the knock sensor 4 (A16/4) at the separating point (1). | ||
| 3 | Remove the retaining clip (2) from the cylinder head. | ||
| 4 | Remove rear bottom engine compartment lining. | AR61.20-P-1105XG | |
| 5 | Remove screw (3) and remove knock sensor 4 (A16/4) downward. | ||

| 6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 7 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
