	Remove/install
1	Remove bottom engine compartment lining.	Engine 260 in model 118, 177, 247 with code M016 (Uprated engine)	AR61.20-P-1105MFR
		Engine 260 in model 118, 177, 247 except code M016 (Uprated engine) Only install lower engine compartment paneling after leak test.	AR61.20-P-1105MFA
2	Unclip electrical connector (1) from holder (2).
3	Release and disconnect electrical connection (1) for oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/1).
4	Remove lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/1).	Coat thread of lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/1) with heat-resistant lubricating paste.

5	Seal threaded hole in catalytic converter with suitable stop plug.	Record plug	Fig 4
6	Cover the tip of the oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter (G3/1) with a protective cover.	When reusing the lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/1).

7	Install in the reverse order.
8	Read out and delete fault memory.

	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.
