Remove/Install Fuel Injectors Sealing Package On Rail - AR07.03-P-0004-02MM

Do not use sharp-edged tools.
The sealing surfaces may be damaged and leaks may occur otherwise.
Use sealing package once only.
Remove sealing package
- Press together the ends of the snap ring (1) using needle nose pliers and remove the snap ring (1).
- Remove metal support disk (2) using a
plastic drift (02).
- Remove slit plastic support ring (3), sealing ring (4) and white support ring (5) using a
plastic drift (02).
- Clean mount of fuel injector at rail (6). The injector mount must absolutely be thoroughly cleaned with assembly cleaner and blown out with compressed air.
Solely use an assembly cleaner and clean, lint-free rags.
Leaks can occur otherwise.
When cleaning the fuel connections must be held downwards so that no dirt can find its way into the openings.
Otherwise, the fuel injection system may be damaged.
Install sealing package
- Remove slit plastic support ring (3), sealing ring (4) and white support ring (5) on the
plastic drift (02).
The slit plastic support ring (3) must be installed as shown.
Leaks can occur otherwise.
Ensure that flat side of the black slit plastic support ring (3) sits on the sealing ring (4).
Push sleeve (03) onto the slit plastic support ring (3), sealing ring (4), white support ring (5) and
plastic drift (02).
Place the plastic drift (02) and
sleeve (03) on the rail (6) mount.
- Push the slit plastic support ring (3), sealing ring (4) and white support ring (5) with
plastic drift (02) into the rail (6) all the way.
Remove plastic drift (02) and
sleeve (03) from rail (6).
Ensure that slit plastic support ring (3) sits evenly under lower edge (1k) in mount for rail (6).
- Place metal support disk (2) on slotted plastic support ring (3) and press with
plastic drift (02) into rail (6).
The profiled side (2a) of the metal support disc (2) must point outwards.
Open metal drift (01) by pushing stem (01a) in the direction of the handle (01b).
- Insert snap ring (1) in the
metal drift (01).
The ends of the snap ring (1) must sit in the cutout (01c) of the
metal drift (01) and must later lie on the profiled side (2a) of the metal support disc (2).
Close metal drift (01).
The markings (01m) on the
metal drift (01) must be flush with each other.
Press metal drift (01) into rail (6) mount.
Push
metal drift (01) into the rail (6) until the snap ring (1) audibly engages.
Remove metal drift (01) from rail (6).
The snap ring (1) must be located in the groove (1n) of the rail (6) and must allow itself to be twisted easily.
The ends of the snap ring (1) must sit in the cutout (2b) on the metal support disc (2).
