REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
  Right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6)     
2 Remove ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) and place to one side with the connected coolant lines. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install upper engine cover after the leak test. AR07.08-P-7013MNO 
3 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.    
4 Unscrew screw (2) on right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, differential pressure sensor to bracket *BA07.04-P-1007-01Q 
5 Unclip holder (4).    
6 Remove right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6) from holder (3).    
7 Remove click clamps at pressure hoses (5) and remove pressure hoses (5) from right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6). IMPORTANT Observe markings on pressure hoses (5) and replace click clamps.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Wet outside of fittings of right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6) with lubricant.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install pressure hoses (5) on right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6) free of tension.

    SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps Fig 3
8 Seal openings of pressure hoses (5) with suitable stop plugs. SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
9 Check pressure hoses (5) for damage. If there is a problem,

Replace pressure hoses (5).
 
10 Install in the reverse order.    
  Left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5)     
11 Remove expansion reservoir of low-temperature circuit and place to one side with coolant lines connected. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install upper engine cover after the leak test. AR09.41-P-0001MNP
12 Release and disconnect electrical connector (7).    
13 Unscrew screw (6) on left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, differential pressure sensor to bracket *BA07.04-P-1007-01Q 
14 Unclip holder (10).    
15 Remove left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) from holder (8).    
16 Remove click clamps of pressure hoses (9) and remove pressure hoses (9) from left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5). IMPORTANT Observe markings on pressure hoses (9) and replace click clamps.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Wet outside of fittings of left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) with lubricant.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install pressure hoses (9) on left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) free of tension.

17 Seal openings of pressure hoses (9) with suitable stop plugs. SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
18 Check pressure hoses (9) for damage. If there is a problem,

Replace pressure hoses (9).
 
19 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
20 Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary.

WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
21 Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
