	Remove
1	Open side window in driver door.	Leave the side window of the driver's door open during the curing time of the adhesive material. This prevents the side window (1) from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when a door is closed.
2	Remove side load compartment trim.	Model 167.9 Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.30-P-1185MEX
3	Remove C-pillar trim.	Model 167.9 Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.30-P-4490MEX
4	Remove D-pillar trim.	Model 167.9 Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.30-P-4497MEX
5	Disconnect electrical connector (2) and unclip electric line at side wall (arrow).	Model 167.9 with code 882 (Interior motion sensor)
6	Unclip trim elements at side window (1).	New side window (1) is delivered with trim elements installed.

7	Cover vehicle interior in the repair area.
8	Protect area around side window (1) on inside and outside with fabric tape against damage.	Adhesive fabric tape	*BR00.45-Z-1062-02A
9	Secure side window (1) using suitable tape against falling down.
	Risk of injury  from cutting wire tearing or becoming hot and from splinters of glass when cutting out bonded windows	Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.	AS67.00-Z-0004-01A
10	Cut out side window (1) and remove.	Helper required. Mounting clips of side window (1) are cut during cutting out process. The side window (1) must therefore always be replaced. Long wedge	Fig 2
11	Remove mounting clip residues from vehicle interior.
	Install
12	Prepare body flange for installation of the side window (1).		AR67.30-P-0005-04ME
Topical note	General notes about painting the body flange in the glazing area	When damaged to a degree of ≤ 10 % it is possible to repair with primer stick. If damage is > 10 % the window frame must be coated with primer filler. Otherwise corrosion damage may occur. 13	Prepare side window (1) for installation.	Use only the repair kit specified in the EPC.	AR67.30-P-0005-02ME
14	Apply adhesive material.	Use only the repair kit specified in the EPC.	AR67.30-P-0005-05ME

15	Install side window (1).	Observe the manufacturer's specifications for the curing time of the adhesive material. Perform following work only after curing time.	AR67.30-P-0005-03ME

16	Remove protective covers in the repair area.
17	Connect electrical connector (2) and clip electric line into side wall (arrow).	Model 167.9 with code 882 (Interior motion sensor)
18	Install D-pillar trim.	Model 167.9 Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.30-P-4497MEX
19	Install C-pillar trim.	Model 167.9 Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.30-P-4490MEX
20	Install side load compartment trim.	Model 167.9 Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.30-P-1185MEX
21	Close side window of the driver's door.
	Clean
22	Clean new side window (1), adjacent painted parts, and vehicle interior.
