	Remove/install
1	Remove left air filter housing.	: Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.	AR09.10-P-1151MNI
2	Remove hose (2) from exhaust gas turbocharger.	Hose clamp pliers	Fig 3
3	Disconnect coolant hose (3).	Clamp	Fig 2
4	Remove coolant hose (3) from low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir and place to one side.		AR09.41-P-0001MNI
5	Remove boot (1) from left exhaust gas turbocharger and place to one side	Clamp, boot to exhaust gas turbocharger/air filter	*BA01.20-P-1003-01J
6	Seal opening of the exhaust gas turbocharger with clean rags.
7	Drain off coolant.	: Do not install center and front lower engine compartment lining until after leak test.	AR20.00-P-1142FR
8	Release and disconnect electrical connector of coolant temperature sensor (B11/4).
9	Unscrew screw (4).	Bolt, temperature sensor bracket to crankcase	*BA07.04-P-1002-01Q
10	Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) with retaining plate (5) in upward direction.	: Replace seal.
11	Remove retaining plate (5) from coolant temperature sensor (B11/4).	When installing new coolant temperature sensor (B11/4).
12	Install in the reverse order.
13	Perform a ventilation routine on the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).

	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 14	Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
15	Install the center and front lower engine compartment paneling.		AR61.20-P-1105FRX
16	Install upper engine cover.
