Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

This non-adjustable sensor is mounted to throttle shaft on side of throttle body opposite to ISC motor. Sensor will provide voltage outputs proportional to changes in throttle plate position. Sensor is used by ECA to determine current operational mode (closed, partial or wide open throttle) for selection of proper fuel mixture, spark and EGR at selected driving ranges.
