Caster & Camber: Notes
For vehicles that pull left or right, a NEW camber/caster alignment procedure has been developed for correction. This new procedure allows adjustment to the camber/caster; however, the sub-frame to body alignment MUST be checked with a 19mm (3/4 inch) pipe or similar tool. Prior to performing camber/caster alignment procedure, correct the sub-frame alignment if necessary.
Refer to the following for sub-frame alignment and camber/caster alignment and adjustment procedures.
- Loosen four sub-frame to body bolts. See Figure .
- Install a 19mm (3/4) outside diameter pipe or similar tool into front driver's side sub-frame and body alignment holes. Slightly tighten the driver's side front body mount bolt after aligning the holes.
- Perform step 2 on passenger side front alignment holes.
- Recheck driver's side alignment holes with tool.
- Tighten four attaching bolts to 65 - 100 lbs.-ft. (88 - 136 Nm) after sub-frame alignment is complete.
