Fuel Delivery

Fuel is delivered from fuel tank by the high pressure electric fuel pump, which is mounted in fuel tank. Fuel is filtered and sent to fuel charging assembly. Both injector nozzles are mounted vertically above throttle plates, in parallel with fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure regulator keeps fuel delivery pressure at 39 psi (2.7 kg/cm² ). Excess fuel, supplied by pump but not needed by engine, returns to tank through fuel return line.
