Preliminary Checks

Check battery connections. Check starter circuit. Check alarm/anti-theft devices. Check fuses and fusible links. Check all electrical loads (headlights, radio, etc.). On A/T models, ensure gearshift is in Park. On M/T models, ensure clutch is fully depressed.
