Electronic Vehicle Info Center: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the overhead console from the headliner.(Refer to REMOVAL  ).

  3. Disconnect the EVIC module electrical connector. Depress the retaining tab and pull straight apart.
  4. Remove the screws holding the EVIC module in the overhead console (Fig 1 ).
  5. Remove EVIC module from console assembly.
