Section 286 (Engine Cooling System): Radiator: Installation

- Install fan shroud to radiator (Figure).
- Attach coolant pipe with hoses to fan shroud (Figure).
- Attach coolant hose at radiator (Figure).
- Install bottom radiator trim (Figure).
- Install charge air cooler along with cooling loop of the power steering, to radiator (Figure).
- Install radiator assembly into the rubber grommets (Figure).
- Install both right and left side radiator trim panels (Figure).
- Attach the transmission cooler lines (Figure).
- Attach coolant hose to the bottom right of the radiator (Figure).
- Attach both power steering hydraulic lines (Figure).
- Connect coolant level sensor electrical connector (Figure).
- Connect coolant hoses to the coolant reservoir, radiator and water pump (Figure).
- Attach air intake pipe at the body.
- Attach charge air hose at air intake.
- Attach charge air hose at turbocharger.
- Install A/C condenser.
- Install front bumper.
- Install front end cross member.
- Refill power steering to proper level.
- Refill transmission to proper level.
- Close radiator drain plug and refill the cooling system (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
- Recharge air conditioning (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
- Run engine until warm and check for leaks.
