Oil Pressure Switch Test

Using separate gauge, verify engine has normal oil pressure. Unplug oil pressure sending unit connector, located near oil filter. With engine off, continuity should exist between sending unit terminal and ground. Start engine. Continuity should not exist. Replace oil pressure switch if continuity is not as specified.
