Rear Quarter Glass

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the power rear quarter glass motor connector in question.
  3. Using a jumper, connect one of the terminals on the power rear quarter glass motor to the battery's positive terminal.
  4. Using a jumper, connect the other terminal on the power rear quarter glass motor to the battery's negative terminal. See Figure.
  5. Reverse the jumpers on the power rear quarter glass motor.
  6. The rear quarter glass will open or close when battery voltage is supplied. When the battery's voltage is reversed, the rear quarter glass will operate in the opposite direction.
  7. If the power rear quarter glass motor does not operate as specified, replace the power rear quarter glass motor. See MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
