Verify customer concern by operating the power window system Visually inspect the components of the power window system.

Mechanical Inspection Points

• Improperly aligned window
• Damaged window mounting and bracket)
• Window frame interference

Electrical Inspection Points

• Blown fuse(s):
• Damaged switches
• Damaged window regulator control switches
• Damaged wiring harness
• Loose or corroded connections
• Damaged heated back window grid
• Corroded relay

Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and perform appropriate repair procedure underSYSTEM TESTS .
