Charging Systems: Generator: Description
Generator uses an internally mounted regulator to control charging system voltage. Integral regulator is part of brush holder assembly. Generator must be disassembled to service the brush/regulator assembly.
NOTE:
The terms generator and alternator are interchangeable. Either may be found within illustrations.
