Power Steering Pump: Reassembly

1. Place rotor in cam ring, positioning match mark as in disassembly. Insert vanes into rotor with rounded edges of vanes facing outward. Install guide pins in rear housing. Position cam ring/rotor assembly in rear housing aligning with guide pins.
2. Using a press and Pulley Shaft Bearing Remover (T92P-3504-MH), Press bearing onto pump shaft. Using Bearing Seal Installer (T65P-3524-A), install seal into front housing.
3. Using Bearing Driver Adapter (T92P-3504-MH) and Driver Handle (T80T-4000-W), install pump shaft and bearing assembly into front housing. Assemble front and rear housings together. Install retaining ring on front housing.
4. Install 5 rear housing bolts. Tighten to 23-31 ft. lbs. (31-42 N.m). Install flow control valve and spring. Install pulley. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
