Front Suspension: Description

Villager uses a MacPherson strut-type front suspension system. See Fig 1 . Strut assembly consists of a shock absorber and coil spring. Upper end of strut assembly is bolted to a strut tower.

Lower end of strut is bolted to wheel knuckle. Wheel knuckle is attached to lower control arm by a replaceable ball joint. Lower control arms are attached to chassis by gussets and bushings. Stabilizer bar is attached to lower control arm.
