Pinpoint Test B - Locks Do Not Operate From Remote TRANSMTER
- Press LOCK then UNLOCK buttons on remote transmitter. If doors do not lock then unlock, go to next step. If doors lock and unlock, return to KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM TABLE under SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS table.
- Remove batteries from remote transmitter. Using voltmeter, measure voltage of both batteries. If more than 3 volts, go to next step. If less than 3 volts, replace batteries.
- Program keyless entry remote transmitter into door lock control module. See REMOTE TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. If remote transmitter does not lock then unlock doors, replace transmitter and go to next step. If doors lock then unlock, system functions properly.
- Program new remote transmitter. If remote transmitter does not lock then unlock doors, replace door lock control module. If doors lock then unlock, system functions properly.
