Pinpoint Test C - Keypad Switch Does Not Illuminate
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect keyless entry keypad connector. Measure resistance between Pink and Black wires of keypad connector. If resistance is about 3 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, check for open wire(s). If wire(s) are okay, replace keypad.
- Disconnect 16-pin control module connector. Measure resistance of Pink wire between 16-pin connector and ground. Measure resistance of Pink wire between 16-pin connector and keypad connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms between connectors and more than 10 k/ohms between connector and ground, go to next step. If resistances are not as specified, repair Pink wire.
- Measure resistance of Black wire between connector and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace control module. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair Black wire.
