Printed Circuit Test
- Check 10A RELAYS fuse located in interior fuse junction panel. If fuse is not okay, go to next step. If fuse is okay, go to step 4).
- With ignition in OFF position, replace 10A RELAYS fuse. Turn ignition switch to ON position. If fuse fails again, go to next step. If fuse does not fail, go to step 4).
- With ignition in OFF position, replace 10A RELAYS fuse. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect instrument cluster connectors. Turn ignition switch to ON position. If fuse does not fail again, go to next step. If fuse does fail, service Blue wire between interior fuse junction panel and instrument cluster.
- With ignition in OFF position and instrument cluster connectors disconnected, measure voltage on Blue wire at each instrument cluster connector. If voltages are more than 10 volts, go to step 5). If voltages are not more than 10 volts, service Blue wire(s) in question.
- With ignition in OFF position and instrument cluster connectors disconnected, measure resistance between connector C1, terminal No. 6 (Black wire) and ground, and between connector C2, terminal No. 5 (Black/Red wire) and ground. If resistances are less than 5 ohms, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. If resistances are more than 5 ohms, service wire(s) in question.
