Description & Operation
The remote keyless entry system consists of a lock control module (located behind center console), diode strip, circuit breaker, power door lock actuators, courtesy light switches, remote transmitter and necessary wiring. The control module performs the following functions:
- Locks and unlocks all doors.
- Turns on interior lights.
- Activates battery saver, which removes power from courtesy lights after 30 minutes and luggage compartment lights 60 minutes after last input to control module.
The remote keyless entry system receives inputs from the following:
- Ignition Switch
- Door Lock/Unlock Switches
- Door Ajar Switches
Control module sends outputs to the following:
- Electronic Door Lock Control Antenna
- Door Lock Actuators
- Liftgate Release Actuator
