Temperature Sending Unit
- Allow engine to cool. Disconnect temperature sending unit. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between terminal of sending unit and ground.
- Start engine. Measure sensor resistance as engine warms. If resistance values are not as specified, replace coolant temperature sending unit. See TEMPERATURE SENDER RESISTANCE table.
