Converter End Play Check
Position End Play Test Tool (T94P-7902-AH) in converter hub. Tighten nut on tool. Position a dial indicator on tool. Position dial indicator pointer on converter shell. See Fig 1 . Lift up on tool handles. If dial indicator reading exceeds .061" (1.55 mm), replace torque converter.
