Escort & ZX2

Place the gearshift lever in the Park position. Loosen the transmission control selector dial bezel screws. Place a stiff wire (A) in the slider panel (B), and position the pointer on the slider panel (B) to align with the Park position on the transmission control selector dial bezel (C). See Fig 1. Tighten the transmission control selector dial bezel screws in the sequence shown. See Fig 2.
