Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The adjustable pedal system must be indexed whenever the brake pedal assembly or the accelerator pedal assembly is serviced. For additional information, refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION .

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.

Disconnect the adjustable drive cable from the brake pedal

Disconnect the drive motor electrical connector.

Remove the two nuts and the accelerator pedal and shaft.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Index the adjustable pedals. For additional information, refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION .
