Transmission Control Module (TCM): Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (2.5L), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (3.0L) and/or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (3.5L) .
- Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) assembly. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the selector lever cable end.
- Disconnect the Transmission Control Module (TCM) electrical connector.
- Remove the manual control lever nut.
- Remove the manual control lever.
- Remove the bolts and remove the TCM .
