Pin Removal Tool

Distribution of the following tool will be through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. Additional tools may be purchased through your PDC.

PIN REMOVAL TOOL

Release tool set for N12 and N14 engine

Order PN 83 30 0 495 408

Cartool PN 610 400

Consisting of:

Release tool 61 0 401 for secondary lock

Before using the release tools, the housing must be checked for a secondary lock.

Special tool 61 0 401 is needed for the secondary lock on the "Sicma" housing.

Insert special tool 61 0 401 into housing (1) making sure to hook the tool in place.

NOTE: Align the tool centrally on multipin housings.

Pull the tool in the direction of the arrow until the secondary lock (2) is released.

Release tool 61 0 402 for "Sicma 2.8mm" contacts

The new release tools from this set are manufactured precisely according to the specifications of the contact manufacturer.

After releasing the secondary lock, insert tool 61 0 402 into the housing (1).

Before releasing, press the wire concerned towards the housing so that the retaining tabs on the contact are released from the housing.

Push tool 61 0 402 into the housing to the stop and release the contact. Pull the wire concerned (2) out of the housing with the contact.
