Installation note:

Before fastening the screw connection after repair work, clean both threaded bolts and the cable shoe of the thick positive battery cable, e.g. with brake cleaner.

Generously grease the cable shoe of both the repaired positive battery cable and the thick positive battery cable on both sides.

Do not fasten the two cable shoes to the threaded bolt using the nuts until the greasing work is complete.

After installation, also generously grease the two nuts and the threaded bolt.

Measure out and mark a length of 100 mm on the positive battery cable (1). Cut the positive battery cable (1) at the mark.
