Checking Function Of Power Steering Pump: Notes

CAUTION:
Make sure all parts are absolutely clean. No dirt is allowed to enter the system.
Check all hose connections, pump and steering gear for leaks. Remove engine underguard. Detach pressure line from pump and connect special tool (32 4 000). See USING SPECIAL TOOL (32 4 000) .
Vehicles with ARS are equipped with tandem pump connections. See Figure.
