Notes on the headlight adjustment are a fundamental requirement for these repair instructions and must be complied with at all times.

- Adjust the headlights at the adjusting screws (1) and (2).
The adjusting screw (1) is primarily used for height-adjustment.
The adjusting screw (2) is primarily used for lateral adjustment.
A definite allocation of adjustment screws is not possible.
- Adjust the height at the adjustment screw (1).
- US version: Carry out the lateral adjustment only if the plug in the adjustment screw (2) for lateral adjustment is missing or damaged .
- Make the lateral adjustment at the adjustment screw (2).
- Perform reference run. To this end, switch off the headlight and switch it back on.
- Check the headlight and adjust if necessary.
- US version:
If the lateral adjustment has been corrected, press the new undamaged
plug into the adjustment screw for lateral adjustment (2)
