Turbocharger - Diesel: Description
The turbocharger is mounted on the exhaust manifold on the right side of the engine. Components of the turbocharger include turbine and compressor impellers, impeller shaft, bearings, and impeller housings See Fig 1 . Engine oil pressure provides constant lubrication to the impeller bearings.
