Speed Control Cable
- First check adjustment of the accelerator cable. Run engine until it reaches idle RPM. Measure the free play of the pedal. Free play in the cable should be 0-.04" (0-1 mm).
- If the measured free play is not correct, loosen adjusting nut so the throttle lever is free. Turn adjusting nut to bring free play within specifications.
- Slide the cruise control cable in the direction of the arrow up to the point just before accelerator pedal begins to move. Secure cruise control cable by inserting clip. Play of cruise control cable should be 0-.1" (0-3 mm).
