Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance value of resistor between terminals 1 and 2 of connector. Resistance should be 30 ohms. See Fig 1 . Disconnect accelerator cable from actuator. Observe actuator and apply 12 volts to terminals 3 and 4. Actuator lever should move. Reverse voltage supply on terminals 3 and 4. Actuator lever should move in opposite direction.
