Emission Control Systems Performance Warranty

Covers all repairs, adjustments, or replacements if vehicle has been maintained in accordance with the prescribed scheduled maintenance instructions, fails to conform to applicable emission standards and such failure results or will result in the vehicle owner having to bear any penalty or other sanctions under local, state or federal law for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Covers remedy of non-conformity which causes vehicle to fail EPA approved emissions test during the first 24 months or 24,000 miles of this warranty. After the first 24 months or 24,000 miles, the warranty covers remedy of non-conformity resulting from failure of any of the following components:

• Carburetor Feedback Control System
• Electronic Control Injection System
• Electric Choke System
• Dual Diaphragm Vacuum Advance Unit
• Electronic Spark Controller
• Timing Advance/Retard System
• Vapor Storage Canister And Controls
• PCV Valve
• EGR Valve And Controls
• Air Injection Controls
• Catalytic Converters
• Fuel Filler Neck And Fuel Tank Cap
• Cold Mixture Heater
• Hoses, Clamps, Fittings And Tubing Used In Above Systems
• Vacuum, Temperature, Altitude, Time And Speed Sensitive Valves And Switches Used In Above Systems
