Power Steering Gear: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. When connecting pitman arm to cross shaft, align slit of cross shaft tip to marking on pitman arm.
  2. Ensure that clearance between bolt hole at the bottom of the steering gear and pitman arm is between .73-93" (18.5-23.6 mm).
