  1. With ignition off, connect Multi-Use Tester II (MB991341) and ROM Pack to diagnostic connector, located under driver's side of dash, and to cigarette lighter socket.
  2. Turn ignition on. RWAL warning light should come on as RWAL goes into self-diagnostic mode. Read and record all diagnostic output (trouble) codes from ECU memory. Refer to Multi-Use Tester II (MUT-II) instructions for specific trouble code retrieval procedure.
  3. After all trouble codes have been retrieved and recorded, clear codes from ECU memory by disconnecting battery for at least 10 seconds. See RWAL TROUBLE CODES table and appropriate CODE under DIAGNOSTIC TESTING for servicing procedure.
