2.0L Non-Turbo (Electrical Test)

  1. Disconnect speed control servo harness connector. Turn ignition on. Turn cruise control switch on. Connect voltmeter between ground and servo harness-side connector terminal No. 3. Battery voltage should be present. If battery voltage is not present, check circuit to speed control servo. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Using a jumper wire, jumper speed control servo harness-side connector terminal No. 3 to servo unit terminal No. 3. Check voltage between ground and servo unit terminals No. 1, 2 and 4. Battery voltage should be present. If battery voltage is not present, replace servo unit.
  3. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between ground and servo harness-side connector terminal No. 4. Continuity should be present. If continuity is not present, repair circuit as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
