Switch Identification
There are 5 detection switches mounted in the top of the transfer case. These switches send signals to Transmission Control Module (TCM). There are 2 types of switches used, built-in ball actuator type and separate ball actuator type. Use care when removing switches to ensure spring and actuator ball is not lost. Ensure switches are located in the correct positions.
