Input Switch Code Inspection
- System input tests should be performed if no DTCs are stored when performing self-diagnostics. System input test cycles each cruise control switch and sensor.
- Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool or voltmeter to DLC. Turn ignition on. While holding cruise control switch in SET/COAST position, depress end of switch to ON position. Within one second, move switch up to RES position.
- Operate each switch listed in CHECK RESULTS CODE IDENTIFICATION
table, and read input switch codes on scan tool or voltmeter. Repair or replace components as necessary.
