Valve Relay

  1. Remove valve relay. Check continuity between relay terminals No. 2 and 5. Continuity should exist. Check continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should exist. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 4 and 5. Continuity should not exist.
  2. With battery voltage applied between terminals No. 1 and 3, check for continuity between terminals No. 4 and 5. Continuity should exist. If relay does not test as specified, replace relay.
