Power Window Switch

NOTE: Master power window switch is tested through multiplex system. See MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS - DIAMANTE article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Passenger power window switch incorporates relays into switch circuity. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .

Remove passenger power window switch. Measure resistance between specified terminals while operating switch in appropriate direction. See PASSENGER POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST table. See Fig 1 . Resistance in all tests should be less than 5 ohms. If switch fails any portion of test, replace switch.

⁽¹⁾	With ground applied to terminal No. 5 and voltage to terminal No. 7, continuity should exist between terminals No. 9 and 10. With ground applied to terminal No. 2 and voltage to terminal No. 7, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 10.
