EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS MONITOR SELF TEST All Models. In cases where you want to run the evaporative leak monitor self test using the MUT-III, always remember to erase DTCs, even if there are none. Erasing DTCs resets the readiness monitors to INCOMP. The MUT-III will not run the self test if the readiness monitor for EVAP registers as COMP.
