Electronic Control System: AWD-Ecu
The AWD-ECU controls the hydraulic unit by determining present driving condition, vehicle status, and road condition, using sensor input, idling information sent from the engine ECU, and ABS monitor signal supplied from the ABS-ECU. The AWD-ECU also has a diagnostic function. When any failure occurs, it turns on all ACD mode indicator lights to inform the driver of the malfunction.
The pin layout for AWD-ECU is as follows.
