Warning/Caution Labels

A number of caution labels related to the SRS are found in the vehicle, as shown in the following illustrations: Follow label instructions when servicing SRS. The label I is not to be removed except by owner. If the other labels are dirty or damaged, replace them.

A DANGER
FLAMMABLE EXPLOSIVE
DO NOT
DISASSEMBLE; HEAT; INCINERATE; APPLY ELECTRICITY; OR STORE AT HIGH TEMPERATURE (93°C or HIGHER).
REFER TO AIR BAG MODULE(S) AND CLOCK SPRING  FOR DETAILS.
B WARNING FLAMMABLE/EXPLOSIVE
SRS AIR BAG MODULE
TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY:
  • DO NOT REPAIR. DISASSEMBLE OR TAMPER.
  • AVOID CONTACT WITH FLAME OR ELECTRICITY.
  • DO NO DIAGNOSIS/USE NO TEST EQPT OR PROBES.
  • STORE BELOW 200°F (93°C).
  • BEFORE DOING ANY WORK INVOLVING MODULE, READ Service Information FOR IMPORTANT FURTHER DATA.
