Cruise Control Setting
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Push the cruise control ON/OFF switch (cruise control system: ON, cruise control indicator lamp: illuminated < standard meter >, cruise control display screen: display < high contrast meter >).
- Drive at the desired speed within the range of approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
- Push the SET - switch.
- Check to be sure that when the SET - switch is released the speed is the desired constant speed. The speed limiter will store a set vehicle speed, and then regulate the vehicle speed within that stored speed.NOTE: If the vehicle speed decreases to approximately 15 km/h (9.3 mph) below the set speed because of climbing a hill for example, it is normal for the cruise control to be cancelled. When the vehicle speed is decelerated to the low speed limit [approximately 40 km/h (25 mph)] or less, the constant speed driving will be cancelled even if the vehicle speed is not decelerated 15 km/h (9.3 mph) or more from the set speed.NOTE: On the high contrast meter, when SET - switch is pressed, "SET" will be displayed on the multi information display in the combination meter.
