The following article was published in a recent Tech Talk publication and states:

CONCERN
When submitting orders for FMVSS and VIN plate/B Pillar labels, please note the following:
- Make sure the VIN number is legible
- For all requests allow 60 days for your DPSM to receive the label
- Your DPSM will deliver the plate/label to you for application onto the vehicle
- If after 60 days the plate/label has not been received, email us: servicesupport@mmsa.com
- When submitting orders make certain you follow the directions on the form and include the following when applicable:
- Accident repair order
- Original label if available or a photo of required replacement
- If photograph cannot be obtained, please explain reasons why
