Removal And Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

To remove the driver air bag module, refer to SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING .

Pre-removal operation

Steering wheel at straight-ahead position check
Removal of steering column lower cover, steering column upper cover (Refer to STEERING COLUMN SHAFT ASSEMBLY )
Removal of steering wheel assembly (Refer to DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING )

Post-installation operation

Installation of steering wheel assembly (Refer to DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING )
Installation of steering column lower cover, steering column upper cover (Refer to STEERING COLUMN SHAFT ASSEMBLY )
Steering wheel at straight-ahead position check
