Cruise Control Systems: General Description: Notes

The cruise control system, which provides the constant speed driving without depressing the accelerator pedal at a vehicle speed determined by the driver within the range from approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.

For this cruise control system, in conjunction with the electronic throttle actuator control system, the Engine Control Module (ECM) electronically controls the throttle valve.
